The Motion Blog: Your One-Stop Shop For Manufacturing Solutions

A Pattern of Invention

If you walk the floor at IMTS 2026 in Chicago, you’ll see a booth that looks quite a bit different than 2024: UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS.

It houses the storied UNITED GRINDING and UNITED MACHINING brands, legendary names with decades (and even a century or more) of history pushing manufacturing forward.

Advancing the industry requires constant innovation, but before that can happen, it requires invention: a wholly unique machine, technology or process. The brands in the UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS family have that pattern of invention, and at IMTS 2026, we’re telling those stories.

A Few of our Many Pioneering Brands
