EWAG builds tool grinders and production tool grinding centers for rotary tools and high quality indexable inserts in tungsten carbide, PCD (polycrystalline diamond) and PCBN (polycrystalline boron nitride).
EWAG grinding machines produce tool accuracies in the microns and mirror finishes on PCD. Several models are available with sophisticated measuring and compensation features. Some EWAG grinding machines have automatic loaders for fully automatic production.

The COMPACT LINE CNC grinding machine with its six CNC axes can grind carbide, ceremet, ceramic or PCB/PCD indexable inserts.
The PROFILE LINE is a CNC tool grinding machine for efficient production of highly complex interchangeable cutting insert geometries, preferably from pre-sintered carbide blanks.
The EWAMATIC LINEAR universal grinding machine has an automatic clamping systems for all tool types. The clamping systems securely hold indexable inserts and rotationally symmetrical tools for precise complete machining in a single clamping.
The CNC-based INSERT LINE grinding machine is a 4-axle high-speed peripheral grinding machine for series production of indexable inserts in very short production time. It grinds indexable inserts from hard materials from an internal diameter of 3 mm up to a maximum external diameter of 75 mm.

LASER LINE PRECISION
The LASER LINE PRECISION laser processing machine handles ultra-hard materials such as PCD, CVD-D, CBN and MKD by laser. It can accommodate rotation-symmetric tools of up to 200 mm in diameter and up to 250 mm in length and indexable inserts from 3 mm internal and up to 50 mm external diameter.
