MIAMISBURG, OH — Recognizing the unique needs of the North American aerospace industry, United Grinding (UGT) has restructured its Surface and Profile Group to include an Aerospace Accounts Manager, Larry Marchand. Larry is not new to UGT, or the aerospace industry…He joined UGT in 2000 as the project manager for a 39 Blohm MC grinder installation at Pratt & Whitney Turbine Module Center, in East Hartford, Connecticut. Once the installation at Pratt had been successfully completed, Larry transitioned into the role of Regional Sales Manager for UGT’s Surface and Profile group. Prior to joining UGT, Larry spent 16 years in the turbine industry, working for GEAE Madisonville, KY, Albuquerque, NM and Greenville, SC. Following his tenure at GE, Larry joined Honeywell Engines & Systems in Phoenix, then Greer, SC.
