United Grinding Certified Q1 by Ford

MIAMISBURG, OHIO - As a supplier to Ford Motor Company, United Grinding Technologies, Inc (UGT) of Miamisburg, Ohio, has been certified, “Quality One”.  UGT achieved excellence in the following four areas; Quality Operating System (QOS), Capable Systems, Ongoing Performance, Satisfied Customers and Continuous Improvement. "Our Quality Operating System allows us to continuously improve how we do business.  It outlines the framework and provides a central place where users can access the business process’s, to identify the location of information.  This provides a baseline for how we measure ourselves against "compliance” and moves toward continual improvement”, states Rick Mamula, UGT’s Quality Manager.  Rick adds, “Our goal is to achieve no less than 100% customer satisfaction with our products and services.  This means an attitude showing that we care in every action we take and every decision we make.” Ford Q1 certification enables UGT increased opportunities to supply grinding machines and systems to Ford Motor Company facilities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.  Additionally, UGT now has preferred status not only with Ford, but their Tier 1 suppliers.
