Option pays for machine

The WALTER Helitronic Power machine's ECO Loader lets you grind up to 20 tools over lunch and breaks, plus 20 tools after your last shift.  That's about 800 more tools per month than you'd make otherwise.  That's enough tools to more than cover the monthly payments on the machine, in part because the loader is so simple it adds very little to the machine cost.  In fact the ECO loader is so simple that WALTER went ahead and made it standard equipment on the 16 HP model!  (You can substitute a 40 tool Disc Loader or a Production Loader for hundreds of tools if you prefer.)

Despite it's simplicity, the ECO loader can handle tools up to 8 1/4 inches long and 1 inch in diameter.  And it can handle different tool types in any order (wheel sets permitting).  For manufacturing, you can use bushings in the pallet to accommodate different diameters.  (Only one shank diameter possible within a batch since the workhead collet is not exchanged)  When regrinding, use collets to accommodate different diameters within a batch.
You can also setup a second pallet outside the machine and change-out 20 tools in seconds.
