New Blohm PROKOS

Higher productivity and lower costs – in the future the name PROKOS will be synonymous with these achievements. The unique design of the new Blohm profile grinding machine with highly dynamic linear drives for the rotary and linear axes, acting in conjunction with the high-speed grinding spindle drive, enables grinding operations to be particularly cost-effective. There is an optional tool changing system so that complex workpieces can be completely machined in one set-up. This makes the PROKOS eminently suitable for precision machining in the turbine blade industry, bearings industries and other high accuracy parts. Visit the Schleifring Stand at EMO, in Hall 11, stand number B32 to see this developmental machine. Production is planned for the second quarter of 2006.
