Mikrosa KRONOS M

With the Mikrosa KRONOS M centerles grinder, we provide a modular concept with a series of benefits which pay their way. All the machines are naturally equipped with a SINUMERIK 840D CNC control. Workpieces with a maximum plunge cut length of 245/395 mm and a diameter of up to 100 mm can be machined.

The KRONOS M is very flexible in application. The grinding spindle is designed as a function of the grinding task: bearings on one side up to a grinding wheel width of 250 mm or on both sides up to 250 mm and 400 mm grinding wheel width.

• Modular set-up equals flexibility in application. The grinding spindle can be supplied with bearings on one side or on both sides as a function of the grinding task.
• Single-end supported grinding wheel spindle with up to 10 inch grinding wheel width, or double-end supported spindle with up to 10 inch and 16 inch grinding wheel width
• Regulating spindle unit with bearings on both sides and an integrated change appliance for short fitting times
• Replacement of the mechanical pivoting of the regulating wheel dresser by control of the X3/Z3 path axes (α')
• Simultaneous movement of spray protection and coolant nozzle as a function of the wear of the grinding wheel option: automatic adjustment, no downtime times, precise feed of coolant.
